Business in reality shows (Bigg boss)

Selling a product done directly and indirectly through many mediums.  Advertisement is identified as the medium to promote or inform that this is our product to the consumer.  Advertisement used the mediums  like newspaper, wall banners, now technology enhanced the same to internet, television and mobile app.  For advertisement  and newspaper companies utilized this and make product companies as their client.  They consider this as a business.

Television using their content, shows as their product to companies and get their ads.  This is the trend happening in media.  Before some years consumers watch serials, films, cricket match.  But that viewership is reduced due to new mediums and lack of content.  Televisions identified a new content called reality shows.

This show pushes and delivers human emotions.  Consumers interested in real or taught emotions rather than serials, films.  So they sell emotions as content.  In Tamil bigg boss vivo, ticketnew are some of their sponsors.  In the middle of the show portray their products.  For us we need entertainment or real emotions like seeing out other window so we watch this show, if we impressed or need of products we will buy them.

Companies invest in advertisements and measure that after seeing their balance sheet comparing profits and expenditures.  According to that next year they  may plan for the same or stop the expenditure.  Again a new company will come to invest and follow the same way.  New shows or new content will come to entertain us. Everything depends on other and just a business model.

Medical devices Cost is acceptable?

India depends on imports to supply its healthcare system with medical technology.  Medical devices industry was valued at US$3.5 billion in 2015 and could expand to approximately US $4.8 billion by 2019. $5.8 billion is the total medical device consumption rate in the country. This is a more profit business than pharma industry.  Telangana Medical Devices Park launched on June 2017 Patancheru mandal in Medak district, 14 companies come forward for this project.

Though it is a good business opportunity but it pushes consumer into financial crisis.  Hip replacement Imported rate is Rs.25000-Rs.42,000, MRP  is Rs.62,000 to Rs.1,30,000.  The imported hip and knee implants easily see profit margins in the range of 500-1,000%.

Industry experts say the reason as product purchase rate is high and Hospitals take 30% as share. Indian implants too are sold at margins of 200-500%, though surgeons often prefer imported types.
The cost of intraocular lenses also varies widely depending on the hospital and the operating surgeon.   75% of Medical devices which are imported are currently treated as drugs under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act. Central Drug Standard Control Organization was helpless to segment both the flood of substandard imports as well as the production of poor devices,

Another threat for manufactures in India is competing with low-cost Chinese products.  The government can take several measures to create an effective environment to consolidate the growth of the medical devices sector. Creating an autonomous body to oversee the regulatory framework for medical devices industry is one of the solution should be done by the government.

We have the right to information?

Information is sellable in form of reports for business purposes.  Government introduced Right to information act to provide information useful for individual clarifications.  The reason may be a discussable or yet to thinkable area.

Right to information in India came into force on 12 October 2005.  This initiative started from the Freedom of Information Bill in Parliament, in 2002.  Citizens have the right to get information from government authority within 30 days.  Technology enhances this act and supports the government to equalize the documents.  Official Secrets Acts (1923) restricted the information disclosure before this act came into force.

RTI is governed by Central Information Commission and State Public Information Officers. Digital governance is also one of the main progresses for this system.  Application, fees in form of DD or cheque are the basic requirements. Misleading information will lead to penalty.  Jammu and Kashmir is the exemption for this act.

RTI started in Sweden (1766) then followed by Norway, US, Netherland, Australia and in 2010 more than 85 countries enjoying the gratitude.  Mexico fixed a standard example and reference for this act.

UPA government made the progressive for RTI.   Every government says error on other government policies.  This act is also not an exemption.  Practically Implementation is the problem and “Confidential” is the word used for most of the replies or answers.  Some small percentage information which is attractive only published in media.  This act needs to break the formality and come from the document grade.

New business models in Medical treatment-values or revenues?

Bringing medical specialties in one umbrella is a business model.  Organizations act as a platform provide infrastructure, marketing to bring patients and connect specialized treatment, consultations with specific doctors even in non-urban areas.  This is a different model nowadays adopted rather than hospital model.   But business, revenue alone calculated rather than values.  This business models will benefit corporate, hospital and develop new jobs.  Whether there is a doubt it may benefit people or in terms of business we call them as consumers or clients.  Each services are covered as packages, will impress the people who need of cure.

Profits, acquiring clients are concentrated in these industry is very disturbing dilemma.  Old treatments are renewing into new brands like Ayurveda, homeopathy and Kerala treatments.
In October 2015, India's medical tourism sector was estimated to be worth US$3 billion.  Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Delhi are top destinations for foreign visitors.  Medical tourism is a good concept and business model which targets foreign business and their cures.  But medical here concentrates on revenues rather than cure and healthy survival.

Medical shops are franchising their brands.  They have customer points for every purchase and they worried about our monthly visits.  Rates are differing for each brands. In business aspect, this is not a good economic progress for the industry business outcome only thing concentrated values, curability of diseases also to be considered towards a proper beneficial growth.

Jallikattu-Emotion, Politics, Business

Younger generation are emotional due to social media and their inter thoughts.  Social media play vital role in this issue.  Similar role like newspapers played during independence struggle, medium, technology is different but ideology not differ in any era.  Protest against jallikattu is not legally affecting those people.  Protest is everyone right to sensitive happenings.  Politics need space to gain public power.  But they are the victim for each activity evolving around Jallikattu.  People aware of their political moves in jallikattu ban.

Business is surely evolving around Jallikattu.  Some point of view intimates foreign countries have a part towards blocking the jallikattu. Preventing this sport will indirectly benefit the other types of cattle business.  This is proved from omitting our country based dogs, chickens which nowadays brought imported dogs, chicken breeds and new diseases also.  Medicines are marketed to cure, this may be a chain.  Thinking of this cycle will give many surprises.   A2 milk is from our livestock (Indian breeds), A1 milk is from European breeds, milk market sustaining also a thinkable fact for this ban.

But anything may be a fact.  Our youth has only jallikattu in their mind because their aware of their culture, and birth identities.  Every issue will have otherside aspects of politics, business and emotion.  One aspect will benefit personal values, wealth and also affect others inter values.

Peta is an organization from US which is getting more negative feedbacks for its attitude towards this ban. Destroying livestock and imported machineries for agriculture are the points raised among us to question the peta and government.  Unanswered questions are with us but we are steadily folded by strong emotion ideology that is called Jallikattu.
